1 to 6

When Sachin was born, I had grand plans. Plans for photo projects galore. One of which, was a photo every month for  12 months, then once a year til.. I don't know. I hadn't planned that far ahead. Alas, this 'having a baby' thing is not all photo projects apparently, there's other stuff, like feeding/changing and generally KEEPING HIM ALIVE. I did however, manage to do it for the first 6 months (I think I did the first 12 minus month 7 actually). It became my favourite time of the day. I have soooo many memories of those months, him on our bed, me with my camera, and the two of us getting lost in each other for a little bit in the afternoon sun.

I have thousands of photos of him, and many I never got around to editing. But here he is. He started life at a teeny tiny 5.5lbs. You can see the layers of pudge, slowly but surely, wrapping themselves around him every month. LOOK AT THE LEGS! Sigh. This is why people do it all over again, huh?

  2. Aw, wonderful pictures. I have a few friends who have just had babies and I look at them next to my 2.5 year old and think "Wow, how did she get so huge!?"

  4. It never ceases to amaze me how much babies grow in their first year. *sigh* And look at the chub! Yes, that certainly is enough to want one of my own.
